EDMONTON, Alberta – Kelly Miller claimed round three of the NSA Shootout on Friday during the opening night of the 61st annual Jim Albert Memorial Gold Cup at Castrol Raceway.

Miller took the lead from polesitter Travis Rilat on lap four and maintained the top spot despite a slew of cautions for the triumph.

Trey Starks made a late-race pass on Rilat to record the runner-up result with Skylar Gee placing fourth and Casey Adams fifth.

Gee opened the night by setting quick time during qualifying before Rilat, Jared Peterson and Adams each won a heat race. Tom Watts was the B Main winner.
