Stewart Haas Racing held a press conference this morning to announce the addition of Nature’s Bakery to their team partnership lineup with a multi-year deal beginning in 2016.  A snacks and food brand that supports health conscious lifestyles, Nature’s Bakery will be the primary sponsor for 28 races next season on Danica Patrick’s No. 10 Cheverolet.

Tony Stewart announced that Patrick’s contract has also been extended to allow for the co-branding of driver and partner to develop into what everyone involved hopes will be a long-term relationship.

Of the announcements, Stewart said, “Both Danica’s deal and the deal with Nature’s Bakery are mutli-year contracts.  We’re excited to be able to keep Danica in our organization.  She is probably the most detailed driver that I’ve ever worked with and we’re real pleased with her progress.  We’re excited about this new partnership and we look forward to where it can go.”

Patrick echoed her boss’s sentiments.  “Our brands align so perfectly that it’s amazing.  Being able to re-sign with Tony and Stewart Haas Racing is special for me.  They’re like family to me.  I’m very happy that I didn’t have to ever look elsewhere and I’m excited about all the ways in which this partnership with Nature’s Bakery can go.  Their products are energy for your journey, and as much as we all travel around we all can relate to that.”

Company co-founder Dave Marson spoke of the goals for the partnership.  “I had no plan to be involved in NASCAR.  That was my son Sam’s vision, and it came through our connection with Haas Automation.  We believe that we are the up and coming guy who’s going to be the next Fortune 500 company.  We’re in all 50 states and 22 countries.  We do plan to remain a private company for now as we look forward to our continued growth.  We are excited to use this opportunity with the NASCAR program to help us achieve that.  We came to (SHR) with a dream and they believed in us.”

Sam Marson added that Nature’s Bakery builds most of its own equipment, but that the company also purchases some equipment from Haas Automation, thus creating the spark for the partnership that was announced today.
