MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Steady precipitation throughout the area has forced the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to cancel the opening night of the Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove Speedway.

Friday and Saturday night will remain on schedule.

With high car counts expected, the World of Outlaws will be in the running for Saturday’s $50,000-to-win purse. Last year’s finale featured 48 winged-sprints, with 28 advancing to the A-Main.
