MIDLAND, N.C. — official track release —
Concord Speedway has rescheduled their season-opening slate of Legend Car and Bandolero racing due to the tremendous amount of rain, snow and ice received by the central North Carolina area over the past couple of weeks.
Due to the weather and its lingering effects, track officials determined that the racing surface would not be safe to race on this weekend.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, has been moved to next weekend, creating a doubleheader weekend on March 14-15. Gates will open on Friday, March 13 for open practice beginning at 5:30 p.m. Race day gates will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, with Sunday’s open time set for 11 a.m.
