(TOLEDO, Ohio – April 20, 2014) – Michael Lira tuned up for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race at Salem Speedway next weekend by winning at New Smyrna Speedway Saturday night.
Lira won the Pro Late Model race at New Smyrna Saturday.
Next week, Lira will drive the No. 68 Gary Yeomans Ford for Bill Kimmel Racing, in the Federated Auto Parts 200 presented by Crunch’N Nutter at The Salem Speedway Fueled by the Hoosier Lottery.
Salem Speedway is the third stop on the 20-race, 2014 ARCA Racing Series schedule.
The Federated Auto Parts 200 presented by Crunch’N Nutter, the 95th ARCA race at Salem since 1955, is scheduled to get the green flag Sunday afternoon, April 27 just after 2:00 p.m. local time.
Two practice sessions precede Sunday’s race activity on Saturday, April 26 at 12 noon and at 1:15. Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell rolls off at 3:30 Saturday. An on-track autograph session accompanies pre-race festivities Sunday from 11:30 – 12:30. Driver introductions follow at 2.
Discount tickets Federated Auto Parts 200 presented by Crunch’N Nutter are now on sale at five Menards locations in Indiana and Kentucky. Advance ticket sales are available for $15, a savings of $11 from the gate price, at Menards stores in Bloomington, Ind.; Columbus, Ind.; Princeton, Ind.; Evansville, Ind. and Owensboro, Ky.
The discounted tickets are on sale through April 26.
