Andy Seuss (Hampstead, New Hampshire) has signed to drive the No. 40 Carter 2 Motorsports Dodge this weekend at the Chicagoland Speedway.

“We are excited to have Andy (Seuss) drive for us at Chicago,” team owner Roger Carter said of the signing. “He is a great addition to our driver lineup this season and we are glad to have him in our race car this weekend.”

The New Hampshire native has made two previous racing attempts with the ARCA Racing Series this season. His first attempt came at the Daytona International Speedway, where he failed to qualify for the 200-mile event. He was not deterred, as he came back to the series in May at the Talladega Superspeedway for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200. In his return, he qualified 26th and finished a career-best 21st.

Outside of ARCA competition, he is a regular competitor and race winner on the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.

Since 2006, Seuss has managed to win 19 races, while scoring 59 Top-5’s and 76 Top-10’s, and 11 pole awards. Not to mention, he is also second on the all-time wins list in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.

Last season, he recorded three wins, two coming at the Caraway Speedway and one at the South Boston Speedway, as a participant in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.

He has also raced in NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour and Camping World Truck Series.
