WOODHULL: Crate Late Models Set To Make Return To Steuben County’s Woodhull Raceway August 9th

WOODHULL, NY — official release — Woodhull Raceway Photos — Throughout the Northeast, there have been numerous drivers moving up to Crate Late Model competition.

Prior to making the 2014 schedule, Owner Ted White has decided to put three Crate Late Models events on the Woodhull Raceway calendar expecting a strong field in all three events.

The First event was scheduled for opening night back in April, unfortunately Mother Nature washed out that event. The next scheduled affair for the Crate Late Models is Saturday August 9th presented by S&W Awards and Photos of Corning, New York.

Owner Ted White is working with representatives with the RUSH Crate Late Model Series to put together a show in September.
S&W is the official photography company of the Woodhull Raceway; they also handle all the trophies and plaques that are granted to every feature winner weekly.

There are many former 360 Late Model competitors that have turned many laps at the 1/3 mile bull ring, including 2012 Track Champion John Waters. 2011 BRP CanAm Series Champion, “Mr. Excitement” Jeremy Wonderling has now been racing in Crate Late Model competition here in 2014.

Other former competitors that are now racing in a Crate Late Model include: Bryce Davis, Brian Knowles, Jason Knowles, Dustin Waters, and Wayne Robertson.

It is a regular show, with the added Crate Late Model class and for the third time this year the Signs Plus mini stocks, and Woodhull Auto Supply Front Wheel Drives will combine in a Quad C event.
