Stafford, CT – The 10th anniversary season of the Valenti Modified Racing Series will continue this Friday night when the modifieds pound the ground at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford, CT.

This will be the first of three appearances this year for the tour at the famed track. It will be contested for 80 laps.

The current point standings for the tour shows a deadlock between Rowan Pennick, and most recent tour winner (Seekonk) Louie Mechalides.

Pennick picked up a win at Stafford last year and is a regular competitor at the track with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as well.

Youngster Tommy Barrett Jr will also look to continue his stellar season so far. He comes off a third place finish at Seekonk and currently sits third in the series points standings.  He also picked up a win at Stafford last year.

Former series champion Chris Pasteryak is expected to enter the event along with Steve Masse, Max Zachem, Timmy Jordan and many more drivers.

The all-time winner at the Stafford Motor Speedway Ted Christopher is also expected to compete on Friday. He will pilot the #00 modified for Joe Brady.

The gates open for the public at 4:15 P.M , with the Valenti Modified Racing Series heat events get the green just after 6 P.M.
