BROCKVILLE, ONTARIO — official release — Brockville Ontario Speedway photo — Jared Zimbardi was already off to a great start to the 2014 season heading in to this weekend, but after his run Saturday, he cemented this has his best season of his illustrious career.

Zimbardi, of Bradford, PA, flexed his muscle Saturday Night at the Brockville Ontario Speedway, leading all 25 laps of the A-Main to sweep the weekend of Patriot Sprint Tour Canada action.

The defending PST America Champion won his heat and drew the pole position and was solid on all restarts throughout the duration of the event.  Quebec’s Alain Bergeron reeled in the No. 35 on a pair of occasions and was able to pull even with “The Juice” on a late-race restart but it was Zimbardi who was able to drive back ahead and win by just under a second.

The win was the fourth in Zimbardi’s career at Brockville, his 16th overall in PST action. It is his fourth win in the last six races and after winning three Patriot events in three prior seasons, it is the first season he has won four PST full-point events.

Bergeron’s second-place effort had a few bids for the win, but Michael Parent ran him hard for that position, eventually would have to settle for third.  Ontario’s Chris Jones and Mitch Brown completed the top five.

Local Lee Ladoucuer would edge Yan Bilodeau at the line for sixth while Rick Wilson, Kyle Fraser and Dale Gosselin rounded out the top 10.

Zimbardi and Bergeron were the heat race winners while Dale Gosselin scored the win in the Four Laps of Fame Dash.  For more information, visit
