OSWEGO, NY — Story by Race Chaser Online New York Correspondent Steven Ovens — Photo by Shawn Cathcart — Race fans, teams and drivers are breathing a deep sigh of relief as it appears we will be going racing here on Classic Sunday at approximately 1:30pm with Hot Laps.

The Oswego Speedway released a statement at approximately 10:45 A.M. stating:

“CLASSIC UPDATE: The rain has stopped. We should be clear now of any long standing rain. Pit area will open at 11:30, with grandstand gates opening at 1:30. The hope is to start hot laps at approximately 1:30. ALL TEAMS, please get to the Speedway ASAP. We are preparing for the 58th annual Budweiser International Classic 200!”

Word is spreading quickly through the campground as race fans prepare for what is going to be one of the most competitive Classic 200’s in the races history.  The speculation of who is going to be fast, who is going to run into trouble and who might make a pit stop for tires to try and win the Classic is the buzz right now.

Race Chaser Online will have the Classic covered from top to bottom with Tom Baker providing updates from the tower, Steven Ovens providing reports from the pits and Brad Ovens taking some exciting photos from the infield.  Stay tuned to the Race Chaser Online Facebook page as well as our Twitter feed @RaceChaserNews for the latest on the Budweiser International Classic 200.
