LOUDON, N.H. —
Young driver Brennan Poole paced the first NASCAR XFINITY Series practice on Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Poole posted a fast time of 29.469 seconds (129.248 mph) around the one-mile oval behind the wheel of his No. 48. He was followed by former series champion and defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, who ran a fast lap of 29.592 seconds (128.710 mph).
Justin Marks was third in the session (29.621 seconds/128.584 mph), while Brad Keselowski wheeled his Penske Racing No. 22 to the fourth fastest time (29.681 seconds/128.325 mph)
Keselowski was followed by 2016 Fontana winner Austin Dillon, who posted a fast lap of 29.698 seconds (128.251 mph) and was fifth on the charts. Erik Jones, Justin Allgaier, Elliott Sadler, Alex Bowman and Ryan Reed completed the balance of the top-10.
The NASCAR XFINITY Series returns to the track for another practice session at 3 p.m.
