JONESTOWN, Pa. — Brock Zearfoss is set to tackle the entire Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule, joining the best of the best in Posse country for 10 nights of competition at seven different facilities between June 30 and July 9.
Zearfoss will split seat time between his family-owned No. 3Z Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company entry and the Aaron Long-owned No. 58 H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing machine.
A one-time winner during main event competition so far this season, Zearfoss will pilot his own Brock Zearfoss Racing entry during all Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs other than Williams Grove Speedway. At the Grove, Zearfoss will pilot the Aaron Long-owned No. 58.
The 2017 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule will take Zearfoss to Williams Grove, Lincoln Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway, Path Valley Speedway Park, Grandview Speedway, and Selinsgrove Speedway.
All Speedweek events will award a minimum of $5,000.
“We are excited to get Speedweek started,” Zearfoss said. “Things are really coming together nicely for both teams. I think we have the potential to be up front every night. We need to be smart and use every lap to our advantage. I can’t thank everyone involved. I am blessed to have the opportunity to drive two different cars in 2017. Everyone works hard and continues to stay focused. I’m ready to get the ten days of racing started.”
During Zearfoss’ most recent sprint car start, the Jonestown Jet scored a fifth-place finish at Port Royal on June 24.
Zearfoss is currently fourth in the Port Royal Speedway track championship chase, still pursuing his first-career Central Pennsylvania track championship.
