The three-time champion in Mexico’s NASCAR Toyota Series (2009-11) made his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at the Loudon track in 2011, two years prior to competing full-time on the circuit for Red Horse Racing. Quiroga posted a respectable 16th-place finish that day, and his career comes full circle, as he returns to where it all started.

This year, Quiroga has shown marked improvement from his rookie season in 2013 when he placed ninth in the NCWTS standings after posting two top-five and six top-10 finishes. Currently, the 34-year-old ranks fifth in the standings on the strength of three top-five and nine top-10 finishes.

Quiroga barely missed his first NASCAR national series victory two weeks ago at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park when Ryan Blaney beat him by 0.05 seconds – the second-closest finish ever in a NASCAR national series road course race.
