One of the ISMA Supermodified division’s top racers has been forced to miss a large part of today’s practice session for the Oswego Speedway’s ISMA Classic today due to a forced engine change.
Ben Seitz is currently third in ISMA points and a feature winner this season at Delaware Speedway. Prior to the practice session even starting, the team fired up the motor only to find clouds of smoke pluming.
Because the speedway requires the teams to remove their haulers from the infield once they unload so the fans can see better, the team had to wait for a stoppage in practice to be allowed to bring in the hauler with their spare motor.
They were still working to get everything together in time for tonight’s qualifying session as of the time this article was published. Look for updates to this article as they become available.
