This week the Lionheart IndyCar Series presented by Overdrive Graphics and Sim Posters rolls to the Pocono Mountains for a 60-lap race at the track known as the “Tricky Triangle.”

With no race last week, drivers have had two weeks to practice, with many of the drivers taking full advantage of the opportunity. In Tuesday night’s final prep for the race on Wednesday night, Dan Geren ran the fastest time in practice and qualifying. Justin Laxton was second fastest in practice and Jorge Anzaldo was second in qualifying.

Tuesday’s final practice was certainly eventful to say the least, with five cautions in the first 24 laps before the drivers settled in for a long run to finish the race. With the two fastest drivers in practice falling victim to fuel mileage, Michael Gray found himself in victory lane.

League newcomer Jake Wright finished second and Jack Bogan in the I Race for Gage/Hope for Heart Defects entry finished third. Rounding out the top five were Krysta Nelson and Pierre Daigle.

This week’s race will not be broadcast on Global SimRacing Channel, so fans of the series will want to check back later this week for the race summary.

Here are some of the drivers to watch.

Dan Geren

Geren has been fast, and seems to find his way on this list almost every week. Will this be the night the Team #nailedIt driver finds victory lane?

Trevor Malone

Malone has run at the front all season and turned an unofficial qualifying lap of 41.975 seconds during practice. He was in contention earlier in the season at Indianapolis, finishing fourth.

Jake Wright

Making his first league start tonight, Jake Wright has impressed many drivers with his race craft and speed. Could he be a championship spoiler?

Sleeper Pick: Krysta Nelson

Nelson has run well in every practice session, including leading three laps in the final practice session last night. Can this be the night she finds her second top-10 of the season?
