ONTARIO, NY — Story and Audio by Race Chaser Online New York Correspondent Steven Ovens — Chuck Hebing Racing Photo — The 360 racer known as ‘The Cobra’ has been lights out so far this season.

Chuck Hebing has won races on both the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Tour and the Patriot Sprint Tour.  He has won races in Ohio and New York and is building the resume that will some day put him in the Empire Super Sprint Hall of Fame.

But the racing that has his attention here in early June doesn’t involve a dirt track and doesn’t have a wing strapped to the top of the car.

Hebing has a shot at running a vintage race on the road course and oval at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  I guess we can give him a pass on missing a few sprint car shows to go race at IMS right?  The opportunity is something that has ‘The Cobra’ fired up and ready to get out to IMS.

We sat down with Chuck Hebing on the Turn 5 Podcast Hotline and asked about his dirt track racing and his upcoming trip to Indianapolis.
