Durham, Maine – Evan Beaulieu continued to progress in his second Pro Series Late Model start at Beech Ridge Speedway on Saturday, running as high as 8th position before handling issues left him 12th at the checkers.
“All in all it was another good learning night for us,” Evan commented after the race. “A right front spring went bad on us in practice and we had to replace it with a stiffer one because that’s all we had. This hurt us at the end of the feature. We had a few close calls with wrecks early in the race but our Spotter Charlie Buxton was on his game and got us through. We passed our way up to 8th but then the spring we had to put in caused the car to get tight toward the end and fell off to 12th. We’ll have new springs in for next Saturday!”
Evan was also happy that his car owner and teammate Dan McKeage won the race.
This Saturday, Evan will again be in action with the Late Model at Beech Ridge Speedway. On Sunday, he’ll run the prestigious Loudon Classic with his INEX Legends Car on the road course at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
