In the first feature of the evening, Billy Vanpelt was able to bring his Hilfiger Contracting; Bradley Supply; Instant Heat Pellet sponsored #78 for the first time since May 31st. Vanpelt ignited the 18 car field and was able to lead all 25 laps. The field was still very stout as Vanpelt did not meet lap traffic until lap 15. The last five laps were the most challenging for Vanpelt as three cautions occurred, which gave Steve Hartman, Jr, and Brady Fultz opportunities to contest for the lead.

“Those five laps took a while. I was really hoping for this race to be over, you never know when something doesn’t go your way, and this field is so tough, there are 12-14 guys in this class that are capable of winning on any night. We had a rough going at I88 speedway on Thursday, where we blew a motor in the feature in the backup car, so this win tonight certainly makes up for it” said Vanpelt in his victory lane interview.

Vanpelt is the first Insinger Performance 370 Modified driver to have three wins for the season. Steve Hartman, Jr finished in the runner up spot over Brady Fultz, Eric Fisher and Josh Nobriga.
Bruce Miller was finally able to pick up a S&W Awards and Photos 360 Late Model win. Miller took over the lead on lap six was had to hold off Glenn Writenour for the remaining eight laps. Writenour finished second, Josh Smith finished third, and Jaye McConnell and Mick Seeley rounded out the top five.

In the NAPA Crate Sportsman, AJ Costley was also able to find himself in victory lane as he took the lead on lap 7. With Chris Daugherty and Russ Morseman both unable to complete the race, this sets up a very exciting last five point races as the top four in points are all within 13 points of each other. With Corey Costa’s fifth place finish, he unofficially now has the point lead over Chris Daugherty, Russ Morseman and Costley. Mike Jackson finished in second, followed by John Hargrave, Dillon Groover, and Corey Costa.
Bob Buono was finally able to find himself in victory lane as he won both the heat and feature. Brett Marlatt, finished in second and significantly takes over the point lead over Teddy Morseman, who was disqualified. Trevor Tompkins finished in third, Kurt Stebbins finished in 4th, and Gary Archer rounded out the top five.
In the Quad C, it was Joseph Birdsall picking up his second Quad C event of 2014. Birdsall passed both Cody Baker and Shawn Gleason on lap 16 up on turn two. Baker finished in second, followed by Adam Delgrosso, Shawn Gleason and Ron Daily Jr.
