August 1, 2013 – Every Saturday night in the twilight of Lake Ontario, the world’s fastest short-track race cars do battle at the Oswego Speedway. This Saturday, the Supermodified competitors will be a little extra feisty as there will be $10,000 on the line for the one who can emerge victorious in the 27th Annual Mr. Supermodified race. The Small Block Supers (SBS) division will have their own version of the event, though with a bit smaller top prize.
Oswego Speedway PR Director Dan Kapuscinski took some time to chat with RaceChaser Senior Editor Tom Baker about some of the past mayhem of this event, who to watch on Saturday and even looked ahead to Oswego’s “super bowl”, Budweiser Classic Weekend coming up at the end of the month.
Sit back and enjoy! August1DannyK
