USAC Sprints: Indiana Sprint Week Go at Kokomo Interrupted by Rain Shower, To Conclude Monday Night

KOKOMO, Ind. — official series release —

Saturday night’s Indiana Sprint Week AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race at Kokomo Speedway was interrupted by rain during the semi, and as a result, the event has been postponed to Monday night, July 13.

Warmups begin Monday at 7 pm and racing will resume with the semi and the feature event.

Justin Grant was Saturday’s ProSource fast qualifier, while Brady Short, Hunter Schuerenberg, Dave Darland and championship leader Chase Stockon each won heat races. Travis Hery won the 10-lap qualifying race.

Stockon is the Indiana Sprint Week points leader after his win in Friday night’s ISW opener at Gas City I-69 Speedway.
