ATTICA, Ohio – official track release —

Cold conditions have forced Attica Raceway Park to move its season opener to Saturday, March 26.

Gates will open Saturday at 3 p.m. with hot laps at 5 p.m. and racing slated to get underway at 6 p.m. on Construction Equipment and Supply Night.

“It’s only going to get into the low 40s during the day Friday and lows Friday night in the 30s. Saturday’s forecast is high temperatures in the mid 50s. We didn’t want our fans and race teams to have to deal with that cold,” said Rex LeJeune, ARP director of operations. “And, with the rain we are getting today (Thursday), it gives our crew an extra day to get things ready.”

Racing Saturday will be the O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints, the Summit Racing Equipment UMP Late Models and the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints.
