Pageland, S.C. – (May 9, 2013) – “Downtown” Michael Brown will once again attempt to race back-to-back nights this weekend, beginning on Friday, where he’ll wheel the Blackwell Motorsports No. 27 at Cleveland County Speedway in Lawndale, N.C. He’ll race in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model race paying $1000 to win. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series headlines the card on Friday.
On Saturday, he’ll bring out his Michael Brown Racing Chevy No. 06 for the first time this year, competing at I-77 Speedway in Chester, S.C. Michael was planning to race there last Saturday until Mother Nature interfered. “I sure do wish she would leave us alone for a little while,” Michael smiled earlier this week. “We’ve had about enough rain for now. I’m ready to go racing again! I’m excited to be running at Cleveland County on Friday and then at I-77. It should be a fun weekend for sure as long as the weather holds out!”
