MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A review of the wild and zany weekend of racing that was, as well as a reflection on September 11th’s impact on the racing community as a whole, highlighted the 141st episode of Motorsports Madness on the Performance Motorsports Network Monday night.
Show hosts Jacob Seelman, Tom Baker, Cisco Scaramuzza and Rence Brown returned to the Roundtable and discussed Kyle Larson’s late race steal of the regular season finale at Richmond Raceway; Martin Truex Jr.’s frustration on the late-race caution that changed the final outcome; and the playoff contenders in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with one race remaining in their respective regular seasons.
Additional topics of conversation included a preview of the hotly-contested Verizon IndyCar Series championship battle ahead of Sunday’s title-deciding finale at Sonoma Raceway; as well as the identity of Andretti Autosport’s fourth Indy car driver for 2018 and beyond.
