RIGA, Latvia – official release — The French team of Gautier Paulin, Dylan Ferrandis and Steven Frossard captured the overall Motocross of Nations following Sunday’s three motos at the Zelta Zirgs circuit in Latvia.
Paulin, Ferrandis and Frossard finished inside the top 10 of all three motos, which earned the French team enough points to take the overall crown ahead of the Belgium squad. The United States trio of Ryan Dungey, Eli Tomac and Jeremy martin finished third in the team battle, followed by England in fourth and Germany in fifth.
Victories in the three motos went to Gautier Paulin (France) and Kevin Strijbos (Belgium). Paulin won the first and third motos, while Strijbos captured the second moto run on Sunday.
The best finish by the American riders came in the first moto when Dungey finished second to Paulin. Eli Tomac was third in the third moto and also finished sixth in the second moto. Martin’s best finish in his motos was 11th in moto one.
