NASHVILLE, AR – Story, audio and photo by Managing Editor Jacob Seelman for Speed77 Radio, Race Chaser Online and USCS Racing – Preston Seratt has wanted to win a USCS feature event “the right way” ever since he was awarded his first USCS K&N Filters Outlaw Modified Series victory by virtue of torrential rain a week ago at Poplar Bluff Speedway.

Friday night, he did just that.

Seratt led wire-to-wire after winning his heat race and starting on the K&N Filters Pole Position to score the victory in the 25-lap “Stars and Stripes Duel at the Diamond” at Diamond Park Speedway on Friday night ahead of Hooks, Texas driver Caleb Shown.

The triumph was Seratt’s second career series victory, as well as his second of the season.

“Boy, each one’s more special than the last one, but I’m so glad we finally got one under green here tonight,” a jubilant Seratt said in Victory Lane. “Sure didn’t have it easy, the 24M (Manuel Williams, II) was on us there for a while at the beginning, but he had his problems and we just drove our race. Super stoked to grab the win tonight.”

The races lone caution flew at Lap 6 when Williams II impacted one of the tires on the bottom of turn two and spun around, slowing the action.

Behind Seratt and Shown, Natchitochu, Lousiana driver Kyle Pleasant came home in the third position with a strong run, and Fouke, Arkansas’ B.J. Moore ended the night in fourth place. Neil Kemp, from Kirby, Arkansas completed the top five drivers at the finish after winning the Street Stock class feature.

Tait Davenport kicked off the evening’s racing action with a win in the six-lap K&N Filters Power Dash. Preston Seratt snagged the victory in the Wilwood Disc Brakes First Heat and Caleb Shown rolled to victory in the Aero Race Wheels Second Heat. Seratt was then awarded the K&N Filters Pole Award by virtue of a straight-up start for the K&N Filters Outlaw Modifieds. Lucas Lee passed the most cars (ten) in the main event to garner the Comp Cams Hard Charger Award.
