Championship-winning ARCA team Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) enjoyed a successful 2015 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards campaign.

While they weren’t able to successfully defend their 2014 title during their second season in the historic series, the team did earn three wins with two different drivers and finished runner-up in the championship standings with full-time driver Austin Wayne Self, and will be honored for their accomplishments at ARCA’s end-of-season awards banquet.

The ceremony will take place Saturday evening, Dec. 12 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.

Along with finishing runner-up in championship points, the team will be awarded their second consecutive S&S Volvo Long Haul Award for completing the most laps during the 2015 season.

“It’s an honor to win this award for a second year in a row,” team owner Mason Mitchell said. “We proved we can outlast our competition and that is key to winning races and championships.”

As a highlight of their standout season, MMM successfully fielded three entries for the first time in its short ARCA career at the Kansas Speedway in October.

“It was a huge step for us to field three entries at Kansas. It was truly a humble feeling seeing three cars on track. We have always taken baby steps to our approach and been successful during our process.”

Next up for MMM is the annual preseason ARCA test at the Daytona International Speedway, Jan. 1516, in preparation for the running of the Daytona ARCA 200 on Feb. 13.

The team still has great opportunities available for the test session. For more information, email Mitchell at
