In a year chock-full of charmed moments, it was only fitting that Christopher Bell capped off his dream season with a thrilling victory during Saturday night’s third annual Junior Knepper 55 at the Southern Illinois Center.
It’s about to be a brave new world for 15-year-old Sam Johnson, and the dirt go-kart standout is looking forward to every minute of it as he transitions into the next stage of his young racing career.
Clauson Marshall Racing, Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports and Tucker/Boat Motorsports have all added their entries for the USAC National Midget Series’ non-points Junior Knepper 55 on Dec. 16, bringing the field to a stout 53 cars.
Though last week’s USAC National Midget Series finale at Ventura Raceway didn’t exactly go according to plan for Spencer Bayston, the ultimate goal was still more than accomplished for both he and Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports.
