OREGON, Wis. – The ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment has announced the tentative schedule for next season, featuring 10 races at 10 different tracks in Illinois and Wisconsin.
The slate of races will be held on tracks that range from as small as a quarter-mile to a 1.25-mile oval.
The season will open on May 6 with the running of the Joe Shear Classic 200 at Madison Int’l Speedway in Oregon, Wis. State Park Speedway in Wausau, Wis., will host the Cabin Fever 100 on Saturday, May 19.
The stars and cars of the ARCA Midwest Tour will end the month of May with its second annual stop at Jefferson (Wis.) Speedway for the Salute the Troops 100 on May 26.
After a fast start to the season, the series will get a little break and prepare for their third annual trip to Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Ill., for a 50-mile event on the 1.25-mile oval on June 23.
One of the most historical tracks in all of short track racing will welcome back the ARCA Midwest Tour on Saturday, June 30 for the running of the Kar Korner All-Star 100 at Rockford Speedway in Loves Park, Ill.
The Rod Baker/Illinois Truck & Equipment Wayne Carter Classic returns to Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill., on Saturday, July 14. Next the series will travel to Wisconsin Int’l Raceway in Kaukauna, Wis., for the Forest County Potawatomi Dixieland 250.
Last year, Golden Sands Speedway — located between Plover and Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin — welcomed the ARCA Midwest Tour for the first time. The series will return to the track on Saturday, Aug. 18.
Becoming a Labor Day tradition, the ARCA Midwest Tour will make their annual visit to Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., on Saturday, Sept. 1, while the 49th annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend will again be the backdrop for the season finale on Oct. 6-7 at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wis.
