AURORA, Ill. – official release — AMSOIL will once again be the official and exclusive oil of the Monster Energy Cup, taking place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas on Oct. 18.

AMSOIL, an industry leader in synthetic lubrication technology, first began sponsoring motorcycle racing in 1999 and is currently gearing up for the fourth year as the official and exclusive oil and lubricant of the widely popular Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship.

“The Monster Energy Cup has turned into one of our biggest annual events. It’s a great showcase for the sport, and it falls nicely between the end of the outdoor season and the start of the supercross season,” said AMSOIL Race Program Manager Jeremy Meyer. “It has really grown and it’s the perfect way to get supercross fans pumped for the coming season of racing.”

For the second consecutive year, AMSOIL will step in as the name-in-title sponsor for the “AMSOIL Arch.” The AMSOIL Arch is a 150’ sweeper turn so mammoth that it will extend into the grandstands.

“It will be cool to see these guys take the AMSOIL Arch and then come down into the massive sand rollers,” says 2014 Monster Energy Cup track designer and five-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael. “These sections require a lot of technical maneuvering, so the racers definitely need to be prepared for both mentally and physically.”

“Having AMSOIL back for the third year in a row as the official and exclusive oil of the Monster Energy Cup is very exciting,” said Todd Jendro, vice president of two wheel operations, Feld Motor Sports. “AMSOIL’s commitment to the motor sports industry is second to none and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome them back this year.”
