MOORESVILLE, N.C. — official series release —

CARS Tour officials announced on Tuesday the complete purse distribution for both the CARS Super Late Model Tour and the CARS Late Model Stock Tour for the 2015 season.

Both divisions will feature 30 car starting fields paying a combined purse of $53,000 before additional contingency cash and awards are added.

The CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour winner will walk away with a trophy and check for $4,500. The combined purse for the Late Model Stock Car division will total $23,625. The CARS Super Late Model Tour winner will pocket $5,500 out of the total combined purse of $29,375.

“We’ve had people asking for the total purse so we put it out there. We want to be open with our teams and show them what we doing to make this work,” stated tour owner Jack McNelly. “This tour is all about bringing value to short track racing for teams, drivers, fans, and our sponsors. We are excited about what’s ahead.”
