ARCA: Enfinger Doubles Down to Kick Off 2014; Equals Horton’s 1990 Mark

(MOBILE, Ala. – March 24, 2014) – ARCA photo — Grant Enfinger did something Saturday that no ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards driver had done since Jimmy Horton – win the first two races of the season.

Horton won at Daytona International Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway to start the 1990 season. Since then, no driver had accomplished the feat until Enfinger won at Mobile International Speedway.

“This team is a first rate driver development team, and has giving me three wins in the last five races we have competed in,” Enfinger said. “I can’t say how grateful I am for this opportunity to forward my career.”

Enfinger is not scheduled to run the entire 2014 season, but team owner Howard Bixman said following the race that the No. 90 Motor Honey-Casite Ford will race at Salem Speedway April 27. Enfinger has the driver point lead after two events.
