TELFORD, Pa. — official team release —
J.R.C Transportation Inc. has announced that it will come aboard as a sponsor of CJB Motorsports and the No. 5 machine driven by David Gravel on the 2016 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series tour.
“2016 is shaping up to be a big year for us at CJB,” said Chad and Jenn Clemens, the owners of the two-car operation based out of Carlisle, Pa. “We are extremely excited to welcome J.R.C Transportation Inc. as a primary partner on our No. 5 machine. They will join Big Game Treestands, Nyce, Crete & Landis Block & Concrete and Bairs Tree Service as David and the team chase the 2016 World of Outlaws championship.”
“Ray Cappella has been a fantastic supporter of David’s for a very long time. We are honored that that partnership will continue on as David joins our stable.”
Cappella, the President of J.R.C Transportation Inc., has been a supporter of the Watertown, Conn. driver for more than five years.
“It has been a pleasure to watch David grow as a driver,” said Cappella. “I really believe that this team primed to win races and compete for the championship. Chad has a first class operation and he always puts quality equipment out on the track. David has come a long way and I feel like this could be his best opportunity yet. He will be in superior equipment and will have a great deal of support around him.”
“Not only is this a great way for us to continue to be a part of David’s racing, it is also a great marketing mechanism for us, as I have had a number of deals come through because of our association with motorsports. All in all, we are really excited and greatly looking forward to this new venture.”
J.R.C. Transportation Inc. was formed in 1984 and currently provides flat bed, van and specialty trailer freight services across the United States and Canada. The organization has over 40 offices and maintains an exceptional fleet.
“I’m really excited to have Ray and J.R.C on board with us,” said Gravel, the 2014 Williams Grove National Open winner. “Without him and my dad teaming up, I wouldn’t be here. It says a lot that he is coming on board to make our team even stronger. I really am excited to get the season started and I think that this might be the biggest opportunity I have had so far in my career. I’m looking forward to getting some great results for all of our partners.”
