During Saturday nights Awards Banquet and Celebration in Manchester, New Hampshire, the Valenti Modified Racing Series announced a tentative 17-race schedule that will see them visit eight different tracks during the 2015 campaign.

The tentative schedule kicks off with the Blastoff Weekend at Waterford Speedbowl, which the series has listed as April 3-5.  Waterford’s foreclosure action sale still has not been completed, meaning there is still a chance that the Speedbowl will not be in business next season.  The series also has dates listed on August 8 and October 3 at Waterford for 2015.

If the Waterford dates fall through, the schedule would then open at Monadnock Speedway with their first of three races on April 18. The track will also host an Independence Day showdown on July 4 and a show on August 22.  Last season, Rowan Pennink, Richard Savary and Dwight Jarvis collected the checkers in the three races held at Monadnock.

The schedule also has the series returning to the half-mile Stafford Motor Speedway for three 80-lap races next season.  Appearances at the famed oval are slated for May 22, June 26 and September 4.

Lee USA Speedway will host the VMRS on June 19 as part of their weekly Friday night racing and October 10-11 at the annual OctoberFest weekend.  Lee saw the controversial finish last October which saw Tommy Barrett stripped of the win after he crossed the finish line first due to a disqualification.

VMRS is slated to return to New York’s Airborne Speedway on May 30.  After Mother Nature moved last year’s race to Sunday from an originally scheduled Saturday night, Justin Bonsignore held off a hard-charging Tommy Barrett in what was one of the most hotly-contested races of the VMRS season.

The Devil’s Bowl Speedway has a date scheduled for July 24, with Beech Ridge to follow the next weekend on August 1.  The series returns to those two tracks after not running races at either venue in 2014.

Seekonk Speedway also has a slated date of June 6.  Seekonk saw an amazing finish in the race there last August, where Norman Wrenn collected his first career win.

The 2015 VMRS season will conclude at the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on Saturday night, October 17, as part of the World Series of Speedway Racing.  The race will be only 50 laps, the lowest count of laps for the entire 2015 season schedule.
