After an 8 year absence in the weekly racing of Seekonk Speedway, local favorite Todd Annarummo of Swansea, MA, will return full-time to Seekonk’s Pro Stock division full-time in 2014.
Over his long time in the Pro Stock division in the past, Todd has picked up various victories and had been constantly in the championship fight.
The 2014 effort will begin in May on Opening Day at Seekonk. Todd will drive for owner Paul Reichart. Paul has fielded a car in the Pro Stocks in past seasons, both driving for himself and another time helping out competitor Tom Scully Jr.
The current sponsor group includes Bottles and Barrels, but there is more coming in the future according to Annarummo.
Todd will also compete in various Valenti Modified Racing Series events during the 2014 campaign, contingent with single-track modified events. He will be a prime competitor in Seekonk Speedway’s $10,000 to win open modified show in July for sure, as he is a former winner.
Todd’s father Vinnie Annarummo is a 6-time track champion, most recently in the Pro Stocks in 2005. The extra help behind the scenes in the garage from Vinnie will help him severely. This team has been able to get any car going around Seekonk for a long-time, this should be nothing different.
You can catch Todd’s first time back behind the wheel of a Pro Stock on Sunday May 4, 2014 at Seekonk.
