The Pro All Star Series (PASS) has released a tentative schedule for the 2016 PASS North Super Late Model Series season, which will kick off at a different venue than in seasons past.

The series will join the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and co-headline the New England season-opening Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park Icebreaker weekend on April 9-10. PASS has not visited the famed five-eighth mile oval since 2012, when Derek Ramstrom held off D.J. Shaw and drove into victory lane.

The series will then head to Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine on Sunday, April 17 for their first “tune up” for the 2016 Oxford 250, one of the northeast’s premier super late model crown jewel events. The 43rd running of the event is scheduled for August 26-28.

The series will also conclude the season at Oxford on Saturday, Oct. 15, where they will crown the PASS North champion.

The tour is scheduled to make three stops at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on April 30, July 9 and Sept. 16-18, which will be the annual PASS 300 weekend.

Two stops at Star Speedway (May 7, Oct. 1) are also on the tentative list, along with single stops at Speedway 95 (May 15), Thunder Road International (May 29), Lee USA Speedway (June 24) and Autodrome Montmagny Speedway (July 23).

The schedule also has races scheduled on June 11, July 2 or 3 and Aug. 13, though those are all races that will be announced at a later point. As always, all dates are subject to change as the 2016 season moves closer.
