Erik Jones has done everything at Pocono Raceway but win at the 2.5-mile track.

Jones turned a lap of 51.41 seconds (175.063) to start out front in Saturday’s inaugural XFINITY Series race at the Tricky Triangle. The 20-year-old driver led a Joe Gibbs Racing 1-2-3 sweep in qualifying for the Pocono Green 250.

Sprint Cup driver Kyle Busch makes his return to XFINITY this weekend and qualified second (175.203 mph) in his No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota. Jones and Busch ran 1-2 in both rounds of Coors Light Pole qualifying to complete the front row.

Series points leader Daniel Suarez (174.784 mph) was third, followed by Kyle Larson (173.568 mph) and Joey Logano (172.781 mph). JGR sweeps the top-three spots in qualifying for the second-straight week.

Inaugural Pocono truck winner Elliott Sadler (172.539 mph) slotted in sixth with Paul Menard making a return to the XFINITY this weekend in seventh.

Richard Childress Racing teammate Ty Dillon (171.808 mph) qualified eigth while Justin Allgaier (171.54 mph) and Alex Bowman (170.739 mph). The top-11 in the final round ran faster than 170 mph. Speeds picked up between the two rounds as pole-sitter Erik Jones nearly picked up three-tenths to post the best lap of the week.

J.J. Yeley and Blake Koch also made the second round and start 11th and 12th, respectively. Former Pocono ARCA winner Brennan Poole barely missed the final cut in 13th and RCR rookie driver Brandon Jones rolls off from 14th. Jones finished third in Friday’s ARCA event to get more track time prior to Saturday’s race.

The session had one incident when Darrell Wallace Jr. lost control of his No. 6 Ford coming off of Turn 1 and starts 40th after not completing the lap. All 40 cars will start the race as the green flag for the inaugural XFINITY Series race at Pocono drops shortly after 1 p.m. (FOX, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
