LONG POND, Pa. —

With the sound of Air Titans blasting around Pocono Raceway and the track nearly dried, another rain shower hit the area.

NASCAR officials postponed Sunday’s Pennsylvania 400 to Monday at 11 a.m. ET (NBCSN, MRN, Sirius XM Ch. 90) making it 0-for-2 with Sunday’s Cup races at the Tricky Triangle in 2016.

The forecast called for rain but the skies cleared for a little while until track crews battled weepers in Turn 3 and further delaying the start of the 400-mile race.

Monday’s forecast for Pocono calls for 60 percent chance of rain as the trip to¬†Finger Lakes region of New York for this Sunday’s Cheez-It 355 at the Glen looms ever closer.
