NORTHEAST: Lee USA Speedway Announces 2015 Racing Schedule Of Events

With snow falling over the historic Lee USA Speedway this week, the staff management is cooped inside the office starting the preparations for the thrilling season that is ahead.

The planned schedule has been released to the public and it sees multiple big events and a few surprises.

Following a “Test and Tune” session for all teams on April 11, the 2015 season will blastoff with the annual Governor Cup 150 for the American Canadian Tour on Sunday, April 12.

The ACT Tour will be joined by the Northeast Mini Stock Tour and the NELCAR Legends on that Sunday afternoon.

The Tri Track Open Modified Series will make once again make a stop at the speedway this season, on Sunday afternoon May 17.  The Lee 100 will be the first of three as part of the series for 2015, which will conclude at Monadncok Speedway and Seekonk Speedway. Last year, Matt Hirschman carried the checkers at the end of the big money paying feature at Lee.

Other highlight events on the 2015 schedule include appearances by the New England Truck Series (June 5), the Senior Tour Auto Racers (June 12), the PASS Tour (June 26), the Granite State Pro Stock Series (July 24) and the ISMA Supermodified Tour (August 7).

The Valenti Modified Racing Series will hit the oval two times in 2015 with the first appearance on Friday night June 19 and the second as part of the season ending Octoberfest weekend.

The up and coming North East Street Stock Tour will also make a stop at Lee as part of their first season on July 31.
