When the first green flag flies on the Tri Track Modified Series in May, there is going to be a lot of money on the line for the drivers competing in the action.

Series promoter James Schaefer released on Wednesday the payouts and bonuses that will be awarded for each of the three feature races.

The first and second race of the series at Lee USA Speedway and Monadnock Speedway will both see a $32,500 total purse that will be distributed to drivers throughout the field.  The winner at both of the venues will receive a check for $5,000.

The third and final leg of the three race Tri Track Modified Series will be at the Seekonk Speedway, in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  For the second straight year, the winner of the 100-lap feature will receive a check for $10,000.

Drivers that are going to be competing in all three of the races will be entered into a point fund in which the driver with the most combined points in the three races will collect $10,000.  Last season, John McKennedy won the crown.

Drivers that have plans to be involved in the point fund must contact Schaefer with their information no later than March 1. He can be contacted on Facebook or at js8x@aol.com.

Schaefer has also announced a challenge to the fans. If 3,000 people (both back and front gate) attend the Lee USA Speedway race in May and the Monadnock Speedway feature in June, he will automatically write a $5,000 check to go to the winner. That would make the feature $10,000 to win at both venues.
