FINDLAY, Ohio – official release —
Wayne County Speedway will be on the Renegade Sprints schedule in 2015.
The three-eighths-mile, semi-banked track in Orrville, Ohio, will be featured during a busy July 4 weekend that will likely include races at Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio; Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio; and Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio.
“The reason we booked a Renegades show is they are working hard,” Wayne County Speedway Owner and Promoter Jason Flory said. “I think our fans are looking forward to having another special event at Wayne County Speedway. We’ve been asked by all our fans to consider it. At the end of the day to be a good race track and give the fans what they want we need a diversified program.”
While finalized dates for the four tracks will be determined in the near future, the Renegade Sprints event at Wayne County Speedway is set for July 4.
“We are very excited to have everyone at Wayne County Speedway on board,” Renegade Sprints President Shane Helms said. “We are working very hard to put together a special weekend for the fans, teams and tracks.”
All four races will pay at least $5,000 to win and Helms said the series is working on creating a points fund for teams that compete throughout the holiday weekend.
