For the second straight year, the American Ethanol e15 225 will be run on Saturday at Chicagoland Speedway.

Heavy rain forced NASCAR officials to postpone the event until Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. ET (9:30 a.m. CT) before Sprint Cup Series practice rolls off at 1:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. CT). The weather cancelled both Truck and Cup qualifying, with the starting grids set by fastest practice speeds.

By virtue of Kyle Larson setting the fastest time in the only Truck practice Friday morning, he starts on pole in the No.00 Haas Automation Chevrolet. He will be joined on the front row by two-time defending series champ Matt Crafton. Johnny Sauter, Tyler Reddick and Timothy Peters make up the top-five.

Points leader Erik Jones rolls off from the eighth position. Caleb Roark and Norm Benning round out the final row of the 32-truck field for Saturday’s race.

Jesse Little and Chad Finley both make it into the event, while Chad Boat and Ross Chastain are the two trucks that went home because neither team has owner points.

TV Coverage of the seventh annual American Ethanol e15 225 starts at 10:30 a.m. ET Saturday morning on FOX Sports 2.
