INDYCAR: Byrd’s Racing Secures Sponsorship from TownePost Network for Indy 500 Effort

GREENWOOD, Ind. – official release — Jonathan Byrd’s Racing, which previously announced its plan to return to the Indianapolis 500 in 2015 with USAC champion Bryan Clauson as their driver, has signed a sponsorship agreement with local media company TownePost Network.

The TownePost Network is comprised of nine hyper-local print publications serving the most affluent communities in the Indianapolis suburbs: Broad Ripple, Carmel, Center Grove, Fishers, Geist Reservoir, Greenwood, Lawrence, Noblesville and Zionsville. In all, more than 100,000 magazines are printed and mailed into these communities each month.

Team principal David Byrd addressed the new partnership with the TownePost Network and their group of publications.

“Because we are a local family with a local business supporting a local driver in a local event that also happens to be the world’s largest annual event, this relationship with TownePost, because of their community engagement and hyper-local focus, makes a tremendous amount of sense for both them and us,” Byrd said. “We’re excited to be able to bring them to the 500 and to give them the opportunity to be a part of something that has long defined Indianapolis and its surrounding communities.”

“I’m really excited to have TownePost Network on board as the newest partner for our 2015 Indy 500 effort,” Clauson said. “As the publisher of a series of magazines and newsletters for central Indiana communities, they are a perfect fit for what we’re building with Jonathan Byrd’s Racing.
