Following a win in 2013 at Langley Speedway in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, Hummelston, Pa. native Kyle Ebersole has been hot at the quick short track.

Ebersole, who finished sixth at the Hampton, Va. track last season, paced the opening and final practice for the Southern Modified Tour this afternoon with a lap of 14.972 seconds.

Four-time Southern Modified Tour champion George Brunnhoelzl III (14.979) was second quick during the session.

Brunnhoelzl, who has been eluded a top ten finish in the opening three races this season, is hoping to get back on track tonight with a successful finish.

JR Bertuccio (15.076) was third fastest with reigning Southern Modified Tour champion Andy Seuss (15.091) and Spencer Davis (15.342), who will pull double duty this weekend, rounding out the top five positions.

Burt Myers, Gary Putnam, veteran Frank Fleming, John Smith and Jason Myers closed out the top ten spots.
