Ricky Benton Racing Enterprises announced today that Austin Hill will be behind the wheel of its No. 92 Ford F-150 in this weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

Hill, a two-time winner in 2014 in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, will be making his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start.

“Austin is a remarkable talent,” said RBR owner Ricky Benton. “He has proven his meddle with the season he had in the K&N Series this year. We have a great Ford Racing F-150 to load up and take to Martinsville and I am confident we can put together a good run and a good finish.”

Despite being new to the series, Hill believes that he and the team can put together a good effort at Martinsville.

“It means the world to me to be able to drive a truck at Martinsville with RBR,” said Hill. “I really appreciate all the hard work everyone has put in to make this happen. The biggest difference I’ve faced so far in my career going from a bias-ply tire to a radial tire and the trucks are a little more top heavy but other than that the K&N car helped me prepare for the truck a lot.”

Knowing the reputation that Martinsville has as a tough track, especially for your young drivers, Hill has realistic expectations for the Kroger 200.

“I’m mainly wanting to finish all the laps and get a good understanding about the trucks as we try to move forward in my career,” said Hill. “Keeping the truck clean and drive a smart race will help me and hopefully we can come how with a pretty good finish.”
