Team Little Racing and Larry McReynolds Racing (LMR) announced a technical alliance for driver Jesse Little, the 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (KNPSE) Rookie of the Year and member of the NASCAR Next program, on Tuesday afternoon.

The alliance, which coincides with Team Little’s transition to manufacturer Toyota, will provide Team Little with LMR shop personnel, as well as engineering and technical support for Little’s K&N Pro Series team in 2015.

Little, who captured his first career series victory last July at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after starting on the outside pole, continues his partnership with the NASCAR Technical Institute as a sponsor for the upcoming season, as well as engine supplier for both LMR and Team Little.

Little’s performance improved throughout the 2014 season, reeling off eight consecutive top ten finishes and capturing two poles (Iowa and Dover) in the final five races.  He also had top five efforts in his three NASCAR K&N Pro Series West appearances at Kern County Raceway Park and Phoenix International Raceway.

Little will join Nick Drake, driver of the #15 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for BMR East, which operates from the Mooresville, North Carolina-based LMR shop under a similar alliance.

“This is an exceptional opportunity for me and everyone involved in our program,” Little said. “To have someone the caliber of Larry McReynolds and his team approach us to join their efforts for 2015 is something we’re very excited about and I am looking forward to working with such a talented group.”

The teams anticipate that Jesse will compete in a majority of the 2015 K&N Pro Series events, beginning with the April 18 running of the PittLite 125 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

“From the very beginning we have been very clear that our mission at LMR is to identify and attract the best young drivers in NASCAR and then surround them with the people and technical support that they need to succeed,” said LMR team owner and FOX analyst Larry McReynolds. “Not only do we believe that Jesse is one of the top young talents in our sport, but I have no doubt that the support LMR can provide will give Jesse the opportunity to show NASCAR and its millions of fans worldwide just how good this young man is.”

Matt Goslant leads LMR as their general manager and competition director with Steve Graham serving as Little’s crew chief for the upcoming season.  Matt Noyce also joins in the Little/LMR effort in 2015 as the car chief.

“We very quickly identified Jesse as one of the top young drivers that we wanted to work during the offseason to bring over to LMR,” said Goslant, “Now that that the partnership has been realized we are excited about the future successes that it will generate for both Jesse and our team.”
