Safecraft, one of the leading safety equipment suppliers in motorsports, has joined forces with Lira Motorsports and the team’s newest driver, Sheldon Creed.
Beginning in Nashville this weekend, Safecraft Safety Equipment will be on board the No. 38 Lira Motorsports entry and will continue to be on the hood of the car until the final race of the season at Kansas Speedway in October.
“Safecraft is proud to be partnered with a top team such as Lira Motorsports,” Safecraft owner Pat O’Keefe said. “We are thrilled to be a sponsor on Sheldon Creed’s No. 38. We look forward to following the 38 throughout the ARCA season.”
In addition to this news, Creed will be running with Lira Motorsports full-time in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards while also continuing his Speed Energy Formula Off Road/Stadium Super Truck Series career.
The 18-year-old, Alpine, California native will be making his series debut at Nashville this weekend as one of five Lira Motorsports drivers. “Thanks to Pat O’Keefe and Carlos Lira for this awesome opportunity,” Creed said. “I hope to bring the No. 38 to Victory Lane very soon.”
Team owner Carlos Lira is happy to have Creed added to the team roster, and equally excited to have Safecraft on board the No. 38 machine.
“We are very excited to have Safecraft and Sheldon join our team for the remainder of the 2016 season,” Lira said. “Safecraft safety products are an industry stand-out and we trust them in all of our race cars. I expect Sheldon to do very well in his No. 38 Safecraft car.”
