Mooresville, N.C. — Mason Mitchell and newly formed Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) will make their on-track debut this weekend at the famed Daytona International Speedway, with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards for the Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real. The event marks the 51st consecutive ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race at Daytona since 1964.

Steeped in history and tradition, the race has become the marquee event for the 62-year-old ARCA Racing Series tour.

Heading to Daytona always gives me goosebumps because of the rich history,” Mitchell said of the legendary venue. “Winning here can make a driver’s career and help him or her get to the next level in racing.”

Mitchell, despite his limited experience at the “World Center of Racing”, will have veteran NASCAR crew chief Brad Parrott on the pit box calling the shots.

“I can’t thank everyone at MMM enough, they have put in countless hours on the car for us to be successful this weekend. Brad Parrott has done a great job leading this crew in the shop, so now it’s my job to get it done on the track.”

The sophomore driver from West Des Moines, Iowa will debut a new sponsor and number at Daytona; the number 98 Thermal Technology Services, Inc. Ford Fusion. Thermal Technology Services will serve as the full-time sponsor of Mason Mitchell and MMM for the entire 2014 ARCA schedule.

Last year Mitchell made his superspeedway debut at Daytona starting in the 23rd position. Quick thinking allowed Mitchell to avoid a lap 20 accident by maneuvering through the grass on the frontstretch. Mitchell would bounce back to a respectable 13th place finish.

Mitchell finished off the 2013 season as one of the hottest drivers in the ARCA garage, earning nine straight top-ten finishes to end the season. Mitchell finished the 21 race schedule with back-to-back runner-up finishes at Kentucky Speedway and Kansas Speedway.

Mitchell will pilot chassis No. 994 which will be making its debut this weekend at the Daytona International Speedway.
