2015 kicks off for Daniel Hemric in the ARCA Racing Series event at Daytona International Speedway this Saturday, February 14 at 4:00 p.m. EST.

The Valentine’s Day race will be Hemric’s first laps of competition at the historic 2.5-mile oval. Hemric participated in the ARCA test at the track last month with NTS Motorsports, laying down the ninth-fastest time.

Although he arrives at Daytona International Speedway with rookie stripes, Hemric has already experienced a great deal of success in both Legends cars and Late Models. The 24-year-old’s career highlights include championships in the Southern Super Series (2013), Legends Pro National (2008 & 2009), Legends Pro Summer Shootout (2009, 2013 & 2014), Blizzard Series (2013), JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour (2012) and a victory in the 2010 Legends Million at Charlotte Motor Speedway, winning $250,000, the largest paycheck in Legends car history.

Hemric, who will pilot the No. 14 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) full time, has three previous Truck Series starts, one of which was fielded by NTS in 2014. Hemric will have crew chief Ryan McKinney calling the shots from atop the pit box in both his NCWTS and ARCA campaigns.

“I’m very excited to be starting the season with NTS Motorsports and to race in both the ARCA cars and the [NASCAR] Camping World Truck Series at Daytona International Speedway,” Hemric said. “We had a good experience at the test last month and learned a lot. This is really a dream come true to be able to race full time and to run for a team that I can really grow with.”

“Obviously, Daytona is a different animal in itself; very different from growing up short-track racing, but I’m here to learn and to, hopefully, complete every lap.”

The No. 92 Chevrolet Impala will be sporting the colors of California Clean Power in this weekend’s race at Daytona International Speedway. California Clean Power is the only organization to introduce a comprehensive solution to help communities benefit from a customized Community Choice program.

Many communities in California do not have the time, expertise or the funds to make Community Choice a reality. With QuickStart, they offer a full-service, no cost solution and manage the implementation process from start-to-finish, including the intricacies of feasibility studies, working with utilities, regulation, power purchase, set-up and ongoing costs, legal support, political advocacy, public awareness, customer service and more.
