DELMAR, Del. — Following his maiden season in the AC Delco PSC Modified division at Delaware International Speedway, former Delmarva Chargers standout Ryan Riddle is now anticipating a breakthrough season at the half-mile dirt track.

Hailing from Millsboro, Del., the now sophomore Crate 602 Sportsman racer earned a respectable seventh place finish in the track standings during his rookie campaign, along with tallying a top five finish on ‘Topless Night’ at the racetrack.

For the upcoming season, however, Riddle has set his expectations a tad higher — hoping to finish top three in the AC Delco standings at Delaware International and contest in a few events at Georgetown Speedway and Bridgeport Speedway.

“We do plan to run again for points in the AC Delco PSC Modified division at Delaware International,” Riddle said. “Additionally, we would like to hit a few shows at Georgetown Speedway and Bridgeport Speedway. Our goal for this season, first and foremost, is to end up in the winners circle at least once — if not more.”

“Points-wise, I would really like to finish top three in the standings. I think that is kinda a realistic goal. If we can be consistent enough and fast enough with all the updates we have had, I believe that is possible.”
